Welcome to my blog!

My wife Masha and I have been married for a little more than a year, so the all the stress and excitement of wedding planning are all too familiar to us. She gives me a new perspective on this industry, and is always supportive, even when I'm a little crazy. Did I mention she also takes great photos?

Why would someone want to be a wedding photographer, you ask? What I love about being a wedding photographer is I get to spend the happiest day of your life with you, while giving you a way to enjoy it forever. What could be better?

My goal is simply this: to cover your event without getting in the way. I want your album to transport you back to the enchantment of your nuptial bliss, and they should serve as a physical reminder of the commitment you have entered into. Santiago and Tirtzah - Santa Ana Wedding Photography

Santiago and Tirtzah have that sort of magic that everyone dreams of at their wedding. These two obviously are crazy about each other as evidenced by their engagement photo session we did a few months ago.  Their ceremony was at Waverly Chapel in Santa Ana, and the Reception was at Jason’s Downtown, also in Santa Ana.  The details turned out amazingly, and I really had a great time.

Jeff and Lauren, Long Beach Engagement Photography

What a cute couple.  I shot Lauren’s brother’s wedding earlier this year, where I met this wonderful couple.  She even called me before she set a wedding date to make sure I was available for her wedding, almost 2 years away.  I recommended Belmont Shore in Long Beach for this engagement session, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.  My sister Pam used to live there, that’s how I knew about this character-filled made-for-engagement-sessions location.  Here are some of my favorites from the session….

Troy and Aimee - Irvine Wedding Photography

Troy is a great photographer in his own right, and I was shooting alongside celebrity wedding photographer Robert Evans, so I was a little nervous to say the least!  Robert amazed me with his calm attitude and willingness to teach while getting amazing photos and even some “fusion” video.  Robert has shot weddings for stars like Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston, to mention a few.

Troy and Aimee are two of the kindest people you will meet, and their wedding reminded my why I do what I do.  Their wedding was expertly decorated, executed and documented, while still retaining the true essence of matrimonial love and commitment that no wedding should be without.  Please comment below if you enjoyed these photos!

Just saw Troy on Friday night and told him that I could not wait to see his images. Congrats on shooting with Robert Evans! Beautiful!
