Mac and Lisa: Engagement Bliss

Meet Mac and Lisa, two EMTs whose common interest in saving lives has brought their lives together.  I’m really excited for their wedding this December.  They found this nice park in Yorba Linda, and it didn’t take them any time to get comfortable and flirty in front of the camera.  These guys couldn’t stop laughing!  I’ll let the pictures do the talking:

Slide-o-vision:

Can’t wait to hang out again at your wedding!  I had a blast shooting this.

The Fieldhouses

I had the privilege of spending some time getting to know the Fieldhouses earlier this week.  They are friends of friends, and they are such a cool family!  They picked out the coolest park to shoot in, and the kids were totally cool in how they interacted and stayed “with us”.  Tira J shot alongside me, and she beat me to the punch blogging this here.  Here are a few of my favorite shots, and when you’ve look at them, have a look at this little slideshow I put together (it has music, so turn your sound on).

Tira got this shot of me in action.  I was explaining that the kids are really in charge, and that its success depends on them.  Anyone who shoots kids regularly knows this is true!

Don’t forget to watch the slideshow!  Click on the play button below to see it.

Ben and Holly – It happened on an island…

This Catalina wedding was one of the most chill weddings I’d seen in a long time.  Unlike most Catalina weddings, this wedding was full of local “Catalinans”, because the bride and groom, Holly and Ben, grew up on the island.  They are no strangers to driving around in golf carts, being on waiting lists for 20 years to get a car, and working on boat rentals during the summer.  The ride over made me a little queasy, but once I hit land things got better fast.  Here are some of my favorite shots.  I’m using some new borders, what do you think?

No tuxedos for these groomsmen!

The father of the groom performed a very touching ceremony.  What a cool dad!

Cupcakes were the dessert, so yummy and no need for plates or cake-cutters.

There were some classic toasts, you could tell they picked the right bridal party.

This wedding is another one I did a while ago, but it was before my bloggin days, and I wanted to give you all the story behind some images you see in my portfolio.  Have a great day!
