John and Pamela’s Las Vegas Wedding

These guys are awesome.  Their wedding was in Henderson, at the Henderson Convention Center, which had a great little amphitheater where they held the ceremony, and tons of cool places for some nice shots.  These guys were so laid back, I really enjoyed their attitude toward everything that went on.  Here’s a slideshow:

Also, here are a few of my favorites from the day:

These guys had the “Reservoir Dogs” walk down.
ellis_0006They remind me of agents in the Matrix in this parking structure.

ellis_0007Their first look!  It was really special, and it allowed them to enjoy the moment in privacy.

Kathy and Fred’s Wedding – Strawberry Farms, Irvine, CA

Fred and Kathy are the kind of couple you know will be together forever.  I’ve known Fred since we lived in Kazakhstan together in 2004, and it’s been fun to go through a similar stage in life as we both returned to the US and found the loves of our lives.  I had the incredible Troy Grover assisting me, as well as my wife Masha.  Check out Troy’s blog for more of his shots.  I shot their awesome engagement shoot at Irvine Park back in March, and as soon as they described it all to me, I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding.  Don’t forget to see their slideshow here (with music).  On to the images!

Christine and Victor: Married!

We had a super-classy engagement session a few months back, and it was a blast.  Their wedding was even more fun, and I couldn’t be happier for these two.  They are truly world-changers, and I am honored to call them friends.  My wife assisted me at this wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather.  Here’s a slideshow I created using Animoto:

Neat, huh?  Follow the Animoto link and try it out yourself.  And onto my favorite images…

What a day!  We took 7,200 photos, and it was TOUGH to narrow it down.  I love shooting weddings for friends.

Greg and Valerie’s West Coast Reception

You might recognize these two from their engagement shoot I did a while back.  They got married in Kentucky where Valerie’s family lives, and they held a beautiful reception in sunny Southern California.  I was not the official photographer, but I was a guest and I was giving my new Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS a chance to see some action.

Greg’s mom was my High School Spanish teacher, who was my favorite teacher of all time.  I can’t HABLAR like I used to, but I have many fond memories and she impacted us all for a lifetime.  Here she is standing next to the proud Father of the Groom.

We snuck away for a few minutes (literally) and grabbed a few portraits. buccolla_rec_0014buccolla_rec_0015buccolla_rec_0016buccolla_rec_0017

It snowed on their wedding day, so  these were the only sunny day shots they were able to get.  What a beautiful couple!
