When we looked at our calendars for a day that would work for Dennis and Abby, the only day over the entire month that was “available” was Valentine’s day. This suddenly seemed uber-romantic so I thought I would try out this “fusion” thing to spice things up. For those who don’t know, my understanding of “fusion” is to mix photos and video. But his not just any video, this is video that plays well with photos next to, video taken with a photographer’s eye. With the trusty 5D Mark II in hand, after hours of fighting the crowds to get to Laguna Beach, this is what we created:

At this point, we had a small crowd watching, half of whom really thought this was Ben Stiller, and half who thought it was an Abercrombie photoshoot.
